Mufasa: Løvenes konge
Rafiki forteller historien om legenden Mufasa, kongen over løveriket, til unge Kiara (datteren til Simba og Nala), med Timon og Pumba tilstede i kjent stil.
Historien blir fortalt med tilbakeblikk og vi møter Mufasa som en bortkommen løveunge da han blir kjent med den kongelige arvingen Taka. Mufasa og Taka vokser opp som brødre, før de legger ut på vidstrakt reise i søket etter sine skjebner. Relasjonene i reisefølget settes på prøve når de forsøker å unngå en truende fiende.
Filmen, som blander live-action-teknikker med fotorealistiske datagenererte bilder, er regissert av Barry Jenkins (Moonlight). Med sanger av prisbelønte Lin-Manuel Miranda.
